Modelled upon the classic LP Deluxe guitars of the 70s, the most notable difference with this gold top is the pair of mini-humbucking pickups. Offering low noise and a more trebly tone than that of a standard humbucker, the narrow coils lend themselves to great lead sounds and cutting chords. The 2011 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top really harks back to 70s Les Paul's which made rock 'n' roll what it is, but that doesn't mean you don't get the luxury of a modern Les Paul Goldtop too! Gold speed knobs, Neutrik locking jack and PLEK setup all contribute to the Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top being a great guitar with all the retro vibe you'd ever need.
